‘7 minutes’

‘7 minutes’ is a unique competition for innovative entrepreneurs and their projects from the space of telco, new media and new technologies. It is an express elevator up to the community of investors and experienced businesspeople with decision-making power whose recommendations and support are like rocket fuel for the projects aimed in the right direction.

‘7 minutes’ is also a challenge for entrepreneurs trying to make an impression and deliver a convincing presentation in an extremely short period of 7 minutes. It is a test of self-confidence and charisma for the project-leaders standing in front of a demanding audience, their competition, world-class investors, bloggers and media people.

Applications

Entrepreneurs willing to face the ‘7 minutes’ challenge were submitting their applications on New Europe Events’ website. Contest was open to applications from such market segments as:

• e-commerce applications and technologies
• multimedia innovations
• technologies integrating off-line with on-line (geolocation, navigation)
• web 2.0 innovations
• consumer electronics innovations

The main prize in the `7 minutes` contest will be guaranteed participation in Seedcamp Ukraine event, 21-22 May 2008 for the top three winners.

The prize is also priceless recognition by the people who mean a lot in the TMT industry. The entrepreneurs are guaranteed to receive presentation improvement tips, business model feedback, buzz related to their project generated in the blogosphere, numerous contacts and networking opportunities, meeting crowds of fanatic worshipers and satisfaction lasting until the morning after. Then it’s time to roll up the sleeves and get to work.

Last edition of '7minutes' took place during TMT.Ventures'08 Warsaw conference on February 27th in the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Poland. The winner was Ads'N'Games by GameDoubler ltd represented by Sławomir Ossowski, Joanna Ossowska and Michał Wasilewski. Congrats!
